Assassin is a melee tower that closes on enemies with a knife and can be placed straight from the Store for Coins, no gamepass or event needed. It starts out as a simple single-target attacker but grows into a real crowd-control piece: Level 2 adds a Whirlwind Slash that splashes to every enemy in range every third hit, and Level 4 adds Fan of Knives, which throws pierce knives at nearby enemies whenever it racks up 500 cumulative damage.

How to Get Assassin
Buy it directly from the in-game Store for 800 Coins. It has no level requirement and, unlike most of the other towers covered here, is not tied to any event, Triumph, or Robux gamepass.
Is Assassin Worth It?
As one of the only towers in this batch that's always available and doesn't cost Robux, Assassin is an easy early pickup. It has Hidden detection from Level 0, which is handy for camo-heavy waves, but it never picks up Lead or Flying detection, so pair it with towers that cover those enemy types.

Best Loadouts With Assassin
Works well alongside a Flying/Lead detector (since Assassin never gains either) and a splash tower to help clear grouped enemies before they reach Assassin's short 6-6.5 range.
