Golden Demoman upgrades base Demoman's explosive splash attack, hitting all enemies within its blast radius rather than a single target. It's a straightforward area-damage upgrade path, gaining Hidden detection at Level 2 and Lead detection at Level 3, and becoming immune to Stun effects at its max level. As one of the newest towers in the game, it fills the role of an accessible, low-cost splash damage dealer.

How to Get Golden Demoman
Unlock base Demoman for 200 Coins, then apply the Golden Perk for 50,000 Coins via the Golden Crate, or 55,000 Coins from the Daily Store.
Is Golden Demoman Worth It?
Good value against grouped enemies thanks to its splash damage and expanding explosion radius (up to 5.5 at max level).
Its lack of Flying detection means it needs pairing with another tower for full coverage.
Being brand new (added mid-2026), it's a relatively cheap way to add strong AOE damage early in a build.
